We recently hired RCL to undertake a complete overhaul of our backyard along with a facelift to our front yard. From first impressions right through to the end, the entire team was amazing. The president, Sean, handled the initial quote and project set-up and Jay and the onsite team carried on leading the onsite work. Every member of the team was professional, and most of all they truly cared about the work they were doing. the pride in their work showed every day. it was a great working experience, and we couldn't be happier with the finished project.

I interviewed about a half dozen landscaping companies over 3 years before deciding on RCL. My project was a complete redesign and makeover of front & back yard, huge, so I had to be cautious about the company I was going to hire. Let me warn everyone out there, there are some highly questionable companies in the Edmonton area… be careful…

Choosing RCL was one of the best decisions I could have made. There was something about Sean, the owner, that I felt I could trust. He has a wealth of knowledge & experience and always conveyed towards me a feeling of respect. Jay, project overseer and Yuliya, a landscape architect who created a blueprint of the plan, were also involved in the process. A team of hardworking guys (Randy, Stephen, Johnathan and Roland) arrived on time every day once the project began and did the actual physical labour. These men worked non-stop for two weeks, in blazing heat I have to add, and always with good humour. I am in complete awe how well co-ordinated this company was, with so many people each performing their part.

It is many months since the work was completed and I am still receiving compliments from my neighbours. My yard is now amazing - I absolutely love it. The stonework is incredible and perfectly executed. All the work done was exceptional. The design that Yuliya created is unique and soo pretty - it really stands out on my block. I can’t believe this is my yard!

As for the cost, it was fair. I am confident that I paid appropriately for the job done. I am grateful that I discovered this company and will forever see the faces of all of the amazing people of RCL every time I look around my yard. I would not hesitate to use this company again or to recommend them to anyone who needs a truly professional, high quality landscaping company.

They worked within our budget for the design consultation and material selection providing us with several options. The work was done on schedule and the communication was excellent. We couldn't be happier with our experience and new landscaping from RCL. Having worked with many contractors in the past on various projects, you find out quickly it is rare that you are 100% pleased with the process, price and end product. I can say with RCL, they were exceptional in all areas.

The process from start to finish was very organized and professional. Sean and his team took our ideas and made it a reality and included some of their expertise and suggestions for improvements we would have never thought about.

One thing with contractors over the years I've found is their quotes are almost never accurate. Sean's quote was identical to what our end cost was, no unexpected cost increases or surprises or extra charges.

Sean and his team made us feel comfortable throughout the process and what we really enjoyed was the landscape design plan he created. They use a professional landscape designer who offers ideas and suggestions based on our vision. The end result was an identical replica of the design that was created. Having that design offered us confidence to know what to expect. In comparison, we were quoted by 2 other local landscape companies and they both came in higher and never provided a plan or idea of what to expect.

All in all RCL's price was 30% lower than our other 2 quotes. Price is everything but it make a big difference on the large landscaping job we did.

The job was done on time and the crews were so great and respectful. I would (and have) recommend RCL to anyone doing landscaping, I assure you that you won't be disappointed.

I can't say enough good things about RCL! We were extremely impressed by Sean and his team. If you are lucky enough to get Ahmed as your installer - rest assured you will be very happy with his work.

When we first met with Sean, he listened to what we wanted and provided a quote within 24 hours. His proposal was very detailed and fully transparent allowing us to evaluate with confidence that all aspects were included.

Our project was a renovation to our backyard. We wanted to remove our sloped yard and provide more usable space for kids to play. Sean recommended building a stepped retaining walls and then complimenting it with artificial turf for a low maintenance yard.

Throughout construction there were no surprises and even when we requested additional work - Sean's pricing was reasonable and inline with the initial quote price breakdowns. I can honestly say that RCL exceeded my expectations! We are very happy with our new space.

Even after construction was complete... Sean maintained good communication with us to ensure we were 100% satisfied. We only had minor clean-up deficiencies... Sean agreed to rectify these once the ground was dry and safe. I have complete confidence that his crews will be back to finish.

For anyone searching for a professional contractor - I would not hesitate to suggest RCL.

Sean and his team at RCL did an amazing job to work with our established plans and to make them even better. They kept us updated on their progress and scheduled plans, they were able to make changes as I changed my mind (more than once as things progressed) and they pointed out things that needed to be fixed that we didn't even notice (still pending). Sean has a "can do" attitude that made our project a pleasure. *COVID-19 measures were strictly adhered to, which made us feel safe at all times. Dogs were treated with respect as they shared the yard when necessary. Team was respectful and very concerned with ensuring we were happy with plant placement and overall look of the job. Sean did such a great job keeping things on budget that we are adding some lighting in the next few weeks. Thanks Sean and RCL!!

Sean and Jay at RCL were lifesavers when an excavation next door collapsed a joint retaining wall and part of our lot. Our home was at risk and our original contractor delayed for months (then dropped us for more lucrative work). We rebid the project and RCL was very competitive. Of four other bidders, two were 45% and 80% higher for the same project. We also chose RCL because Sean asked the right questions, demonstrated right knowledge and expertise, and showed his professionalism during the bidding process.

Despite material supply problems (confirmed), the work was completed before freeze up as promised. Ahmed and his crew were amazing. They were patient, helpful, hard working, kept the worksite clean and minimized inconvenience to neighbours. They regularly checked with us to ensure that the work was meeting our expectations. When concerns did arise Sean responded quickly and, on a couple of occasions, came to the worksite to address issues in a helpful and professional manner. All this was in a situation that was challenging for a number of reasons.

I would not hesitate for an instant to use RCL again or to recommend them to others.
