For several years, the traffic situation in the city has been getting worse and worse. The current state can be called simply a disaster.
This traffic situation has never been easy in this city. Before the garden show 2019, she was tolerant. During the garden show, one of the main transport arteries of the city was simply destroyed. After which a whole residential area without through roads appeared at this place.
In fact, there is now only one single lane road to get to or past in the direction to the train station in the city. But the transport situation here is always difficult, turning into a catastrophe during rush hours.
The parking situation for downtown residents has never been easy. Now it's just a disaster. In the city center, every free place is immediately built up with a residential complex. Why? I can express my personal opinion on this matter. Any construction, I repeat any construction, be it residential or office buildings or hotels or shops, it makes sense to do in this city on the outskirts, that is, where there is a place for the construction of developed modern urban architecture, and where in this way it is possible to unload the city center.
And in place of still vacant places to build, for example, only small city gardens or playgrounds. But now the city is building housing here, moreover, multi-apartment residential areas, which attracts additional cars for which there are no longer parking spaces in the city center. Try to park yourself near your house in the city center?
To be honest, I don't see any chance to improve this traffic situation and I think that the traffic situation will only get worse.
Well, if I were a magician and scrolled the story a little back, in the city center on the site of wastelands or vacant places as a result of the demolition of houses, I would not build residential or administrative buildings at all, thereby unloading the city transport infrastructure.

A separate story is the restoration of roads in the city center. Any narrowing of roads in the city center leads to huge traffic jams. If you need to repair a road, why not do it non-stop, working 24 hours a day, seven days a week to make the road faster?
