They rush their lawn cutting and leave lines, they don’t take their time with trimming either. But right now they provide poor winter care, just the worst, they have missed our walk way TWICE now and didn’t salt now they barely scrapped any snow off. I’ve never seen them or spoke with them. But now I have to leave a review. They work for the condominium I live in and I am not impressed. I am complaining to HOA about their sub services. Other neighbors have the exact same experience, I’m at 3 fellow neighbors just on my street.

I can not say enough good things about Great Lakes Landscaping. Kevin and his crew came to our home to trim and cut down some trees. They did an excellent job. They were very friendly and easy to talk to. Explained in detail what they planned on doing and how it would be done. When the job was finished not only did the trees look great so did my yard. They did a top notch job on cleanup too. You would have never known they spent an entire day working in our yard. I highly recommend them. If I ever need more work done they will be the first company I call!

It was a very good experience working with Laura Z. She was patient, attentive, helpful and made some great suggestions.
We needed to replace several old arborvitae to create a privacy screen on our front patio. She sent pictures, met us at the nursery, and knew the pros and cons of what we thought we wanted. She also was available at the installation and made sure that all went well. Also the crew doing the install was professional and friendly and they did a perfect cleanup when they were done. Highly recommend!

Let me preface my review by saying I'm not an individual to hire out work around my house. I normally do the work myself. However, we needed front landscaping done for our home, and I contacted a number of companies to do the job. We ended up going with Great Lakes Landscaping, because they were very responsive to our needs and changes to our needs. We had a good idea on the layout of the landscaping we wanted done. Great Lakes were very great at listening to what we wanted.

The crew (wish I had the foreman's name) installed the landscaping yesterday. 28 plants/trees, 12 yards of mulch installed in all our landscaping beds. These guys were amazing. The job was done in one day and looks great. We didn't go with a retaining wall or anything. Just a pretty simple and clean design. The crew moved sprinkler lines, took great care in forming the landscaping bed, getting the plants in and providing some suggestions on placement. It was a great experience.

I would give this crew 10 stars if Google would let me. I highly recommend contacting Great Lakes Landscaping for your project. I'm glad I did, and my back is, too. Thanks GLL Team!

We have used Great Lakes Landscaping for 2 large projects, at 2 different houses, in the last few years. They are one of the few AWESOME contractors out there. Our first project was bringing in 100 yard of cobblestone/topsoil to raise and grade our backyard along, hardscape and sod. Our yard was not usable previously due to standing water issues and Great Lakes fixed all of the issues we were having. They were knowledgeable, professional and prompt. Our second project was a 150’ hardscape retaining wall with drainage and flower bed along with clean up of landscape and finishing with sod. Again, Great Lakes was a pleasure to work with. They went as far as to help us with fixing sprinkler lines our fence contractor had cut in order to ensure that our entire project was complete. Their skill set is incredible! A special shout out for the crew leader/foreman, Jeff. He worked on both of our projects and is so easy to work with, communicated what they are doing and was very accommodating for on the fly changes and the project progressed. Good contractors are hard to come by these days, you don’t need to worry about that with Great Lakes Landscaping!
