My yard is living the good life after Demian and his crew worked wonders on it!! From amazing stone work, to redoing the sprinkler system, to taking out an enormous old stump and planting a diversity of plant species these guys did it all. I let Demian take full control and i could not be happier with the outcome. I can’t wait to see my yard bloom this summer. Highly recommend!!

He started with sprucing up the planting beds and fixing irrigation in the front yard and ended with a huge design overhaul in our backyard and added several trees. Demian has an excellent eye for landscape design, a depth of knowledge of local plants and trees and a serious love for his craft. He is super responsive, collaborative (with us and our landscape designer), and worked creatively to stay within our budget without sacrificing design. Demian Scott is to landscaping what Frank Lloyd Wright is to architecture. Your final product will exceed all expectations and have an impact not only on how you live, but also create change in the community where you live.

Over three short weeks In May 2023, Demian and his visionary crew of artistic and knowledgeable craftsmen redesigned, sculpted and enhanced the front of our home unveiling an imaginative mixture of boulders, stones, berms, and wildlife resistant plants. We were stunned as each layer was added. It was like watching a FLW house being built.

Here is the aftermath of their work:
Expect dozens of cars, walkers, cyclists, etc. to creep by your home and stop. People will point, take photographs, talk amongst themselves animatedly, and gawk. The braver ones will walk up your driveway and bang on your door, ask for permission to walk around your yard and beg for particulars as to who did your transformation.

Expect phone calls from friends and neighbors hooting like owls, “Who? Who? Who?” Expect to go on a walk near your home and be told, “Your house is the talk of the neighborhood.”

Expect copycats. All over our neighborhood, berms, boulders, and identical or similar plants are sprouting. Those landscaping efforts are well done, but nowhere near the vision and curb appeal delivered by Demian and small crew. Expect your address to be sent to your community HOA (if you have one) with the note, “We want to do something like this.”

What we didn’t expect was that within a month our entire yard would explode with color and plant growth. Neither did we expect so many hummingbirds, butterflies, and pollinating bees. When plants were installed, we were told by the crew, “Just wait until next year.” As with everything GLL touches, we just can’t imagine it getting better.

Also unexpected was that we were contacted by two realtors. One wanted GLL to do her front yard, asked how much it cost, and then shrieked, “You’ll get all that back if you ever sell. The curb appeal is so dramatic and showcases your home so well! A second realtor sent us a letter saying some people who have been renting nearby for 18 months spotted our home and loved the outside. Would we be willing to sell if they liked the inside? No, we don’t want to sell, but interesting. We’ve lived here much longer than 18 months and not a single realtor contacted us until after GLL showcased their talents in our yard!

GLL has changed the way we use our property. Our front yard is no longer a pass through. We linger, drive slowly in and out, perch on boulders and savor, and use our front patio exclusively to read and relax despite our much larger patio to the rear with its own parklike views.

Demian transformed our space into something truly extraordinary. Before he and his crew came, I didn't even understand what was possible in our front and back yard. He completely revamped our sprinkler system, redid the turf boundaries, set up drip systems, tamed all of the unruly bushes and plants, brought a truckload of soil, resuscitated our ailing grass, and gave us a bunch of tips on how to maintain it all. Fantastic experience!
