This used to be one of my favourite places, but I’m sorry to say I think it has declined. I preferred being able to order at the till. The menu seems limited and more restrictive. For example, I had to order my son the pancakes and banana and then pay extra for bacon (only got one slice). They used to have more choice (eg smoked salmon, black pudding, etc). The man serving us seemed a bit fed up. And the place was quite dirty. We were there first thing in the morning. Surely they should have someone in the evening cleaning the surfaces (including the surface of the seats and window ledges)? It’s such a shame because it was quite a nice place to go.

Hidden gem of a garden centre and shop/cafe. They have lots of Christmas trees ? starting from £35. Good size 5-6 feet and big and bushy.

Stopped off for lunch today. Haven't been for a while but they now take you out of the queue if you're eating off the menu and serve you at the table. Happy days. Just means if you are queuing you will stand for longer. Waiting staff very friendly, plenty of choice on the menu and daily specials although couldn't look past club sandwich (with tortilla chips). Looked and tasted great but for £9 it should have. Tea came with an extra pot of hot water which is always welcome. Knocked one star off as the cup clearly hadn't been washed first >:(

Had a good brouse around most of the garden centre. This time we bought a coffee in the cafe. Staff are very helpful and informative. Great place for Xmas trees.

Such a beautiful place and the most friendly staff. We had a late lunch sausage roll with beetroot & pear salad, bacon & cheese bagel with the same salad totally amazing. The rubarb tart is not to be missed.

Staff in the cafe were most helpful and kind when we recently celebrated a birthday party. Would definitely recommend this place.
