Chris did a great design to fit our request, Lloyd & the crew did a great job making it look better then we had hoped for. they were very professional and were done in 2 days as quoted. They were clean and took all scrap left overs and great job sweeping and washing down area, they even fixed a few other areas not on the quote. i highly recommend this team as the guys were all friendly and personable as well. I will be using them again when we need more jobs done.

We are in a new area of town and hired cuttings edge to do our landscaping. Right from day one Chris was easy to talk to about bringing our project to life.

Lloyd, Leon, and the rest of the crew worked some long hot days this summer completing our yard so that we can use it this summer and they did a fantastic job.

Everyone was very friendly, and one thing that really stood out to us about Cuttings Edge was the pride that they take in their work, along with how neat and tidy they kept the job site.

Little things like making sure the walking path beside our house was cleaned and swept every day when school let out goes a long way in showing you what a companies working culture is like.

We are very happy with how our yard has turned out. And as I mentioned we live in a newer area and have walked around and looked at a lot of the landscaping projects that are happening around us and I can say the level of work that Cuttings Edge has completed is a step above the rest.

If you have a complicated project or just want to know a group is going to put real effort into their job you should call them. You won’t be disappointed.

They did our whole yard, from retaining wall, to stone pad, to fire pit, to sod, and trees and shrubs.

It was such an easy and smooth experience working Cutting Edge. We had to part ways late in the summer with the original landscaper we hired, so when we were looking these guys were recommended. I messaged Chris on a Saturday morning and he was at our home a few hours later to look it over. Chris said he’d be able to get us in, despite being late in the season and said “trust me, we’re worth the wait”. I could not of agreed more. They sent us a 3D rendering and a very detailed quote, so there were no surprises.

They always kept in contact leading up to the day they started at our home. The team started working, they were efficient, so kind, and very professional. They were at our home for 3 1/2 days, always started on time and at the end of every day cleaned up the site. Also, Chris and his team was very accommodating as half way through the job we changed our design and it wasn’t an issue. We gave them creative license to do what they wanted with the design and they exceeded our expectations. Overall a fantastic experience, and couldn’t be happier with the finished product. Have no issues recommending to anyone looking to have landscaping done. Thanks again Chris and everyone at Cutting Edge.

I’m absolutely appalled at the driver of this truck and hoping that he’s not the owner, Kris. I watched this man nearly rear end the person in front of him in an attempt to stop another vehicle from merging ahead of him. He proceeded to refuse to let anyone driving in the right free flow lane merge in front of him, going so far as to nearly side swipe me while I clearly had a signal on, all while my 2 year old is in the back crying because he’s laying on the horn (note we’re all going 5km/hour)

Here’s the thing: I wouldn’t normally leave a negative review for a company based on an experience i had driving, but I’m seeing MANY other negative reviews involving this company’s vehicle. The pattern of behaviour shown by this employee while driving a company vehicle is atrocious. This waste of space would rather prioritize his ego than to drive respectfully and keep the roads safe. I genuinely believe that this intentional and explicit carelessness driving a company vehicle more than likely reflects a similar carelessness in the work being done and the care shown towards clients, since lives on the road clearly don’t matter. There’s hundreds of landscaping companies in the Edmonton area and if anyone I know is looking at getting landscaping done, I can tell you who I’ll tell them to stay away from.

Priorities should be considered when the reputation of a 34 year old company is being affected by one jerk who thinks he’s invincible in a big white truck. Running red lights, nearly causing accidents at high speeds…he’s going to kill someone some day.

Note: There's some reviews here about some guys helping out others like a good Samaritan and this is a very legitimate review.

I was out having trouble starting my car in this cold morning and saw one of them working hard snow plowing one of their clients' sidewalk. I had asked if there's any chance they can give a guy a boost and sure enough after a good 15 mins of helping out, (while still doing their job) was able to get my car going.

Denardo was one of the fellas that was very helpful. His crew is quite capable and I'm sure the owner is quite lucky to have these guys in the company.

If this is any sort of indication of the type of people that's working in this company, they'll grow big in no time.

After I didn’t go through with their quote and landscaped my own backyard one of the senior landscapers walked into my yard with a qualico construction worker and they were trash talking my work not knowing they were on camera the whole time. Kind of funny that they didn’t realize I had a back door camera recording audio and video when they trespassed onto my property. Super unprofessional . Plus the sod they use is trash and cheap.

Literally looked like you guys just threw the sod down and rolled it out. Bare minimum kinda stuff. Very little attention to detail on the installation. I fixed what I could in front of my place after work. Not to mention you guys didn't even pack down, the poorly raked, dirt. By the looks of it this company covers alot of ground over a short period. Better luck next time I guess. Shortcuts > Quality ?
